After a detailed discussion, the jury appointed the winners of awards under the statute of the Biennal as follows:
AWARD OF THE NATIONAl ACADEMY OF ART 1. Julio Federico, “No title”, Academy of Fine Arts, Venice AWARDS OF THE FIRST INTERNATIONAL STUDENT BIENNAL “DRAWING”: 1 Bogdan Alexandru -„ Self-portrait”- National University of Arts – Bucharest 2 Iva Kalikanin – “No title” – University for Arts – Belgrade 3 Boris Pramatarov – „Composition I and II” – National Academy of Art -Sofia The jury unanimously decided to split the prize of The Biennal (of the amount of 800 bg leva) into two incentive awards to nominate the representatives of The Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. AWARD OF THE UNION OF BULGARIAN ARTISTS /UBA/: 1. Trendafila Trendafilova , “Figure III”, NationaL Academy of Art – Sofia THE INCENTIVE AWARDS: 1. Seden Besiroglu – „No title” – University of Fine Arts – „Mimar Sinan” – Istanbul 2. Ubeid Bairaktar – „Onion” – University of Fine Arts – „Mimar Sinan” – Istanbul 3. Vanda Vernich – „This drawing has a perspective” – Academy of Fine arts – Zagreb 4. Ivana Rod – „No title IV” – Academy of Fine arts – Zagreb 5. Orestis Rutzos – „A Cry” /According to a decision of the jury, an Award of The Biennal, is split into two incentive awards / – Aristotle University or Art – Tessaloniki 6. Christos Lahanas – „Astiko topoi /Cityscape/ / According to a decision of the jury, an award of The Biennal, is split into two incentive awards / – Aristotle University or Art – Tessaloniki The awarded and the incentive awarded artworks will become a property of The Museum of The National Academy of Art.
